A speargun band cover protects your fragile latex or rubber bands. Every spear fisherman knows their bands start wearing out as soon as they put them on the gun. Wind, sun and abrasion incurred transporting your guns shortens the life of your expensive bands. As bands degrade and wear out you run the risk of breaking one at the absolute worst time. You can be certain that tournament winning fish is laughing as it swims away after watching one of your bands snap during a reload.
Do what you can to make your bands last as long as possible. A band cover / sling sock is probably the simplest thing you can do to keep your bands in good shape and ready to take that monster fish.
Our premium band covers are made from Sunbrella, a marine and outdoor fabric that is exceptionally durable. Sunbrella fabric carries a 10 year warranty. We use Sunbrella for many of our marine projects like dodgers, sail covers, sun shades, T Top bonnets and biminis.
Just like our nylon band covers, all fabric edges are cut with a hot knife to prevent unraveling and we use a very durable UV resistant sailmakers thread we use for all bags, canvas work and sail repair. This is a high quality band cover and will last you a long time.
The band cover measures approximately 22 inches length and 7 inches wide with a drawstring closure and cord lock to keep the cover from blowing off in the wind on the way to the dive site.
Color choices are yellow, blue, red, kelly green and black Everything we sell is made in our shop on the Alabama Gulf Coast by a diver / instructor with over 40 years diving and spearfishing experience.
A great bag to stow and launch an asymmetrical spinnaker. This bag is designed to stow in a hanging locker. Clips are provided to attach the bag to your lifeline when you bring it on deck to launch your spinnaker.
This bags in the images was made to customer specifications of 80 inches in length with a diameter of 14.5 inches. All of our bags are made by us and it can be customized to your specifications. The bag pictured is approximately 84 inches long and 15 1/2 inches wide. The images show 5 stainless steel snap hooks. We normally build this bag with 3 hooks but this customer wanted 5 so their you go. The bag also incorporates an extra wide inside and outside flap over the zipper. This protects the zipper from the sun and protects the sail from the zipper.
Please note, the bag you receive will have 3 brass snap hooks unless you select additional hooks and/or stainless steel during the order process.
Handles are incorporated at each end to make lifting easy.

Our Spinnaker Launch Bag, sometimes called a turtle bag makes launching your spinnaker a breeze. Have everything set before you leave the dock. The bag keeps the spinnaker safe and contained until you are ready to deploy.
This bag is 12 inches in diameter by 16 inches in length.
A stainless ring holds the mouth of the bag open and a bungee in the edge of the lid keeps the bag closed until you are ready to deploy your spinnaker. Two snap hooks are provided to attach the bag to your lifelines and a contrasting color band on the edge of the lid gives easy visual confirmation the bag is securely closed. One side of the bag has a large webbing handle to make handling the bag a breeze.
Standard sizes are:
12 inch Diameter x 16 inch length
16 inch Diameter x 21 inch length
20 inch Diameter x 24 inch length
24 inch Diameter x 30 inch length
** We make this bag in a variety of sizes. The diameter is determined by the size of the stainless ring in the mouth of the bag. The length can be changed if you need modification. **
To use the bag, pack your spinnaker in the bag with halyard and sheets leading out of the mouth of the bag. Secure the bag on deck and attach the halyard and sheets to the sail. Three webbing loops are provided inside the bag to keep your lines organized. Close the bungee lid once the sail is packed and lines are secure. When you are ready to launch your sail pull the halyard, the lid will open and your sail will deploy.

This is a version of our popular nylon deck bag done in Sunbrella Marine Canvas, the same stuff we use for equipment covers, biminis, dodgers and such, making it suitable for leaving it on deck.
Made with all the features of our sail storage bags, double stitched seams and hot knife cut edges, this is a durable and very useful bag.
Fold and stow your sail properly in the bag and you can take it to the bow, clip the bag to the deck and open the mouth of the bag to attach your halyard and sheets and hank on your jib to the forestay. Open the zipper and you can hoist your jib straight out of the bag.
