If you intend on storing your sails on deck this Sunbrella Sail Storage is what you need. Constructed of long lasting Sunbrella marine canvas, this bag can be left on deck for years. Sunbrella comes with a ten year warranty from the manufacturer. This fabric typically used for Biminis, Dodgers and other marine canvas applications which are exposed to the elements 24/7.

The bag measures approximately 18 x 36 inches with side and bottom handles to help with handling the bag. The bag features a double drawstring and a Sunbrella flap to further seal the bag from the elements when the drawstring is cinched down. As with all of my bags the fabric is cut with a hot knife to seal the edges and minimize unraveling. All seams are double sewn for security and durability.

The bag is constructed with Phifertex PVC Mesh fabric with Microban® antimicrobial protection and GVC18, a highly functional vinyl-coated polyester tarp fabric which resists rips, tears, abrasions, and punctures.

The mixture defends against stains, odors, bacteria, mold, and mildew. For standard upkeep, easily clean with soap or diluted bleach.

Each Bag is Custom Made To Order with the same care we put into all of our other sewn products. Hot knife cutting where appropriate to heat seal fabric edges and all of our seams are double sewn to make certain this bag will beat whatever you can throw at it.

Our Hatchway Door Panel is the perfect solution for closing your companionway while allowing easy access to the cabin or deck.  Removing and replacing hatch boards each time you go in and out of the cabin is truly a pan in the butt.  Some sailors drape towels or tarps but these methods provide no thermal protection and make leaving or entering the cabin a burdensome ordeal.

Our door panels make it easy. Grab the handle and move the panel aside to enter or exit then snug the panel back in place to close your cabin.

Our door panels are made with a 3 inch thick foam which provides structure, stiffness and a very good thermal barrier to keep the outside temperature and humidity out and the inside temperature in.

The example shown in the pictures was constructed using the customers own material. I make these out of marine Sunbrella for durability so your choices are the spectrum of Sunbrella fabric. We can make a panel out of other fabric selected by you but you would have to get the fabric to us. Contact us with your measurements and we can give you and estimate of the amount of material needed.

If you decide one to be made from your own fabric any leftover material will be returned to you with the finished product.

This is a custom product which will require you to take accurate measurements to obtain a good fitting product.

This bag was inspired by customer request. We modified one of our tube style sail storage bags and this is what the customer had to say about it.

The bag worked perfect for my 12 meter leading edge kite.

This kite has one long air bladder in the leading edge that is easy to inflate and deflate, but the 7 stiffening bladders are more troublesome.  Buy just deflating the leading edge bladder, I can roll it up and stuff it in the bag.  My kit came with a nice backpack, but that requires deflating all the bladders. 

The handles and drawstring are perfect just as you have them.

This bag incorporates 2 carry handles along the length of the bag as well as a handle at the closed end of the bag to assist extracting the sail, and double handles at the open end to assist in stowing the kite.

This bag is built with the same care and attention to detail as all our other sewn products. All Sewn Sails sail storage bags the fabric is cut with a hot knife to seal the edges and prevent unraveling. All seams are double sewn to make this bag very durable.

A great bag to stow and launch a small spinnaker

Fold and stow your sail properly in the bag and you can take it to the bow, clip the bag to the deck or life lines, open the zipper, attach your halyard and sheets and launch your spinnaker straight from the bag.

Made with all the features of our sail storage bags, double stitched seams and hot knife cut edges, this is a durable and very useful bag.

This version of this deck bag is done in Blue 400 denier oxford cloth coated nylon. Nylon is a durable light weight fabric but is not intended for continuous exposure to the sun and elements. If you plan on stowing the bag on deck permanently we suggest you get the bag inn Sunbrella Marine Canvas.

The "Little Round Sack" is made from tough 400 denier coated nylon Oxford cloth. The same construction as our solid color "Little Round Sack" with the addition of another double sewn seam where the Blue and Yellow panels meet.

The round bottom is 6" in diameter and the bag is approximately 12 1/2" tall.

This is not some cheap little "made in china" wimpy bag. Like everything else I sell each bag is handcrafted by me with material left over from production of sail bags and other things.

Each and every little bag is made with the same care and attention that goes into our bigger bags. As you can see from the photos, the seams are double sewn and the fabric is cut with a hot knife which fuses the edges to prevent unraveling and each bag has a drawstring closure. At the top of the long seam, directly below the drawstring I do a locking bar tack to insure the seam will never pull apart. This takes a little more time but it makes the bag last longer.

I know, I know, I know, sounds a bit pricey for such a little bag but consider this.

This is not some cheap little "made in china" wimpy bag. Like everything else at Sewn Sails the "Little Round Sack" is custom made to order in our shop. We build it to last you well beyond your lifetime so pick a color you think your grandchildren will like.
